Residual Current Circuit Breakers

 

Reetech Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB) is a device that is used to interrupt a circuit for protection against earth fault current. Earth fault current, normally caused in an electric system with neutral, flowing from one defective circuit element to earth, is a source of unsafe heating and electric shock, dangerous to human body event fatal.

RCCB acts for instantaneous interruption when available earth fault current exceeds the breakers established interrupting ratings: 30mA, 100mA, 300mA.

RCCB can be applied where there is requirement of  high safety, especially in humid environment such as in bathroom, saunas, swimming pool, etc.

 

REFERENCE:

In Vietnam, RCCB are used in electric system of building such as Etown Building, PSV Building, etc.

 

Safety Breakers

 

Reetech Safety Breakers (SB) is manufactured in applying Japanese technology, acts, on the basic of thermal trip characteristics, for interruption of a circuit when overload or short circuit happens.

SB is used for safety and protection of household as well as industrial electrical equipment: air-conditioners, washing-machines, refrigerators, water heaters, water pumps, etc.

 

REFERENCE:

In Vietnam, Reetech SBs are used in the electric power system managed by the Power Companies (PC) such as Dong Thap PC, Tien Giang PC. Reetech SBs are also widely used in many provinces and cities, provided via our distribution network.

 

Miniature Circuit Breakers

 

Reetech MCB is a device that is used to close and interrupt a low-voltage circuit under normal conditions or to interrupt this circuit under fault or emergency conditions. MCB provides short circuit and overload protection to circuit elements.

MCB can protect the circuit elements against long or short duration overload thanks to its time-current tripping characteristics. MCB acts for interruption when overload current exceeds prescribed limits.

MCB has ability to interrupt instantaneously short circuit currents.

Thus, MCB protects circuit elements against unsafe overheating and any other damage.

MCB can be applied in low-voltage electric system for civil and industrial premises, especially in the electric power system managed by the Power Companies.

 

PRINCIPLE OF CIRCUIT INTERRUPTION:

Each pole is equipped with 2 tripping devices:

Protection against overload: overheating due to overload current releases the thermal bimetallic element, which leads to circuit tripping of MCB.

Protection against short-circuit: instantaneous occurrence of high intensity of short-circuit current requires extremely short breaking time of MCB (of some milliseconds). An instantaneous magnetic trip element is equipped for this purpose.

 

REFERENCE:

MCBs are used in the electric power system of Etown Building, VSP Building, in power networks managed by the Power Companies (PC), such as PC1, PC3, Da Nang PC, Binh Duong PC, Tay Ninh PC, Gia Lai PC, Hai Phong PC, or in Saigon Port, Viet Nam Full Power Co,Ltd
